Abstract

Raw material price fluctuations pose significant challenges to the sustainability of modern coffee shops by increasing operating costs, reducing profit margins, and threatening financial stability. This study aims to examine financial risk management strategies among modern coffee shops in Bogor City by analyzing the relationships between Supply Chain Risk (SCR), Digital Financial Literacy (DFL), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Financial Risk Management (FRM), as well as the relationship between FRM and Business Performance (BP). A quantitative explanatory research design was employed, involving 100 coffee shop owners or managers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that ERM has a positive and significant relationship with FRM, whereas SCR and DFL do not demonstrate statistically significant relationships with FRM. Furthermore, FRM is positively and significantly associated with BP. Overall, this study provides preliminary empirical evidence highlighting the importance of integrating enterprise risk management with financial planning, cost control, and cash flow management to strengthen financial risk management practices and support business performance in modern coffee shops.
